Anderson Regional Joint Water System owns and operates a 48 MGD water treatment plant serving 212,000 in Anderson, Pickens, and Abbeville counties in the Upstate of SC. As part of the treatment, settled and filtered solids are wasted to two (2) lagoons on site. The upper lagoon catches most of the solids and decants to the lower lagoon. The upper lagoon was last dredged in the fall of 2021 consisting of the removal of approximately 1,800 wet tons of material.
Anderson Regional Joint Water System is inviting unit price bids for the removal, dewatering, handling and disposal of Alum Sludge as well as mobilization efforts.
